Ranch Dressing. Need I say more? I mean, how could you not love it? It is practically a crime in America to not have a sickening obsession with dipping nearly every food you eat into ranch dressing. I mean everything from pizza and fries to buffalo chicken… could you imagine the horror of trying to stomach them WITHOUT ranch?! How did a sauce intended for use on salads become such a staple in our culture? St. Louis, Missouri has an entire restaurant dedicated to this one famous salad dressing. People are traveling all over the United States to visit Twisted Ranch located in Soulard.
This unique restaurant has been featured in popular publications such as Delish, Feast Magazine, Business Wire, Southern Living, USA Today, BuzzFeed, Spoon University, and many more. Open since July of 2015, Twisted Ranch is famous for being dedicated to making all 33 of its proprietary house-made ranch flavors using their very own seasoning and the freshest ingredients. The flavors consist of varieties like cheesy bacon, Cajun, smoked paprika, jalapeño popper, Asian zing, and so many more equally delicious flavors. Due to such high demand, they partnered with Kraft Heinz to help them sell their 8oz bottled ranch flavors in-store and online at grocery stores around the globe (including Walmart and Kroger)!
Every single item on the menu uses ranch in some way shape or form. They incorporated ranch into sandwiches, pastas, stir-fries, and even drinks. They have created their own ranch infused vodka for use in their Bloody Mary cocktail and serve it with a ranch powdered rim on the glass. However, their most popular menu item is the “Ranch This Country Flight 13”. This menu item consists of a basket of hand-cut ranch seasoned fries, served with your choice of 13 ranch flavors. Yes, you’re reading that right. THIRTEEN flavors. All I can think about is how long it must take people to order all of those flavors.
To make things even better, Twisted Ranch opened up their second St. Louis location in the Grove and it is actually inside of a Tropical Liqueurs. If you live under a rock and don’t know what Trops is, they are known for their alcohol-infused slushies. Just as I thought a restaurant dedicated to ranch couldn’t get any better, now you can pair it with your favorite alcoholic slushies. If you’re as big of a fan of ranch as I am, I suggest you try visiting one of Twisted Ranch’s two locations OR stop by your local grocery store to test out their products from the comfort of your own home.
